Back to top of Page Financial Statement Reports One of the hallmark services provided by CPAs is the preparation of financial statements and issuance of an “independent accountants’ report” on them. Financial statements can be either historical or projected. Historical financial statements are like a snapshot and a movie of an operation taken together. The balance sheet lists assets, liabilities and equity at a certain hour, while the income and cash flow statements provide a glimpse of operations over a month, quarter or year. They are relied on for internal management and external investing and lending purposes.
We can issue compilation, review, or audit reports on financial statements. The level of CPA financial report needed for each operation varies. We ask some relevant questions so we can help our clients keep this at the lowest level (and cost) necessary for their long-term success. We talk directly with banks for our clients to be sure there are no missed expectations on either end.
